Bluehawk smiled when she said of course to them still being friends. That made him happy. At her question, he slowly shook his head. "No it's not forbidden, in fact in the very first code of Nightclans Warrior Code it states," He cleared his throat and closed his eyes as he remember the warrior code. "Defend your clan with your life, if you must. You may have friendships with cats outside of Nightclan, but your loyalty MUST remain to Nightclan, even if you end up having to fight them one day in battle." Opening his eyes he smiled, "so you see I am allowed to befriend you and I highly doubt we'll end up fighting one another. So we're all good wouldn't you say?" River returned his smile brightly listening to what the tom was telling her about his clan's code."I think we're good! Just if your clan doesn't want to fight me because I will beat them all!" The she cat said laughing sightly as she waved a paw in the air with her claws out."Rawr! I'm a scary monster!"

Bluehawk laughed, his eyes shining. "Yes I'm sure you would shred them to pieces." He was sure if it was one on one or even one on two she would win but he highly doubted she could defeat an entire patrol. Bluehawk's whiskers twitched when she rawred and said she was a monster. He put on an act of fear, "Oh no it's a ferocious beast what am I going to do?" |

River laughed as the tom did and then waved her tail,standing in the hunting crouch like she
would hunt her prey."You're gonna be my prey and you won't be able to eat caterpillars ever
again!" The she-cat said and then started circling Bluehawk. She knew nothing of this was
making any sense, but right now she didn't care at all.

Bluehawk's eyes twinkled with laughter as she went into a hunter's crouch. He crouched down pretended to be in fear. "Oh no not that I love to eat caterpillars." He actually hated them but he was having fun playing along so cared not that none of this was making sense to him. As River began to circle him he watched her. As she circled around front he leaped. "But what would you di if I made you my prey instead?"

River's eyes shined happily when he made her game only to be take by surprise and pinned
down."Um...No idea?Maybe I would like to be your prey?" She said and winked at him. Gosh
no! Volcan's flirty behavior got on me! She thought and her cheeks got a really faint hint of
red now the she-cat was looking in another direction,her tail moving nervously on the ground.

Bluehawk purred softly when she said maybe she would like to be his prey. He bent and licked her muzzle, he had no idea what made him do it he just knew he wanted to do it. He cared for this she-cat but did she feel the same way? His eyes continued to shine, "maybe we can just be together? Whether it's prey or predator." His heart began to beat really fast. Was this how Nightstar felt towards whoever the father of her kits where?

River smiled when the tom purred and licked her muzzle."I don't see why now." Her heart began to beat faster and she purred softly. Bluehawk made her feel good and she really started to care for him and maybe something more was going on here. Maybe River just found 'the one' she had been waiting for all this time while her best friend, Volcan remained with her ideas about using the toms for a night."I think I like you..."The she-cat said really fast and her whole face started becoming red.

Bluehawk blinked, this wasn't all a dream, wasn't it? It was too perfect, too good, she was just too beautiful and sweet to be real. When he opened his eyes once more there she was looking up at him and he was looking down at her. This was real, this was true, he had never felt this way with anybody else, not even Volcan. He was falling in love. The realization that he was falling in love with this beautiful, feisty, fiery she-cat took his breath away. Bluehawk opened his jaws to tell her how he felt when she spoke and said that she thought she liked him. A purr rumbled loudly in his chest and he licked her ear. "I think I'm falling in love with you River. You take my breath away."

River closed her eyes for a short moment. She was dreaming,right? Volcan always told her that there isn't 'the one' but she just found him and this she-cat, in this life isn't going to let him go.Not this time and never. "R-really?"She looked up at Bluehawk and then whispered. "Volcan always told me there isn't the one, I guess my best friend was wrong..."The she-cat said quietly and then smiled softly before touching his muzzle with hers.

Bluehawk nuzzled River, he was so happy, the only thing that would make him happier was if she joined Nightclan. But he could live with her not joining. When she said really he purred softly, "yes really." He chuckled softly, was it so hard to believe that he loved her? Bluehawk inhaled sharply as she spoke of a cat named Volcan. But as she nuzzled him he decided to push it to the back of his mind for now as she nuzzled him. He licked her muzzle. "Well your friend was wrong," he whispered softly into her ear.

River never felt happier and now she was really thinking if it was okay because Bluehawk was a clan cat. When he said yes a huge smile covered her face that now lit up.Finally getting up she shook her pelt to get rid of what was in it."Bluehawk, what now?" She asked not looking straight at the tom as she was a bit embarrassed.
"Want to go for a walk? I just don't feel like I can stand in one place." River said a bit amused by her own behavior she never had before.

Bluehawk went to give River's cheek a lick when she stood up and gave her pelt a shake. He stood up and brushed against her. He ran his tail down her back and purred softly. "Sure let's go for a walk." He made sure they were out of his clan's territory just encase the patrol came he didn't want them to find River. "Lead the way my love."
