{ I thought I'd let you know That these things take forever, I especially am slow,for I've been hurt and betrayed. It takes time to heal, but I know I need you to help me climb from this hole. It faded in and out of wakefulness not coming far enough out to move or speak, just enough to feel the slight swaying movement of someone carrying her. But before she could even begin to feel the edges of fear. When she woke up who knows how much later she no longer felt the cold wind or the freezing wet snow. In fact there was something warm surrounding her. She nuzzled closer to the warmth but then flinched from the pain and let out a little whimper. The tiny white kit opened her one and only good eye to see where she was. She was surprised to see what she thought where roots hanging from the ceiling ever so slightly. She began to panic had someone buried her thinking she was dead? Her eye grew large with fear and her breathing grew faster as she began to panic. Wait? What was that? Fresh air? Yes she wasn't buried at all she could feel fresh air coming from somewhere. She blinked and looked around more, a few tail lengths away she saw a thick tangle of roots with sun shining through here and there. It finally began to realize that she must be in some kind of den. With one mystery solved she turned to look herself over and saw something covering her, there was some strange smelling gunk in her fur, and over her badly injured paw it had been wrapped in something. Was that cobwebs? Ewwww! Why would someone wrap cobwebs around her paw? All of a sudden she heard a shout come from outside, something about shadows and gathering. She limped to the roots and poked her head out to see more cats then she could count. Her eyes widened and she darted back in. After a while the sound of paw steps could be heard coming from the tangle of roots. Panicking she laid back down and closed her eye. If she remained completely frozen maybe they would think she was still asleep. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0 |

 The five year old , seventeen and a half pound, sixteen inch tall forty-eight inch long, Warrior/Hunter that had recently joined up with NightClan and recently found he could command the Shadows quite well, paced along the terrain beneath his snow dipped paws. His ears switched to get the sounds of everything around him. Even though his right ear was missing a chunk out of the outside edge, he still retained most of his hearing on that side though it was slightly muffled. His remaining right deep yellow-amber coloured eye watched as the cats ahead of him continued to race ahead of him to...where ever it was they were going. As he padded along, he heard a sound and stopped, ears tipped forward and his head tilted as he peered toward a hollow beneath a nearby tree's roots. His eye had seen motion there and he had heard a small sound of scrambling. Curiosity winning out Rissenstorm me we'd gently as he parted his mouth to call into the hollow den. "Hello? Please do not be afraid, I will not harm you. My name is Rissenstorm a Warrior of NightClan." He'd meant every word he said. The sounds he had heard had been too small to have been made by a large cat. Rissenstorm figured it must have been either a kitten or a  most likely. When he had finished speaking into the air and the den, he sat down and wrapped his long fluffy dark chocolate brown tail over his paws and tilted his head waiting to see if the one he had heard would approach him or not. It remained frozen as a statue as the paws stopped just outside the den. Would they enter and attack her? She tried to pretend she was sleeping but she couldn't seem to stop the waves of fear that coursed through her causing her body to convulse in shivers. Her ears flattened against her head as a huge booming voice echoed through the den calling out to her, Rissenstorm? A warrior of Nightclan? She let out another squeak of fear, her father had told her if a clan cat found her they would torture her worse then her family had. She swallowed remaining frozen for several moments that felt like an eternity but was probably only a few seconds or a minute or two at the longest. She heard a small sound like the cat had sat down, he wasn't going away. What should she do? Swallowing she decided she would rather die facing them then being attacked and killed like a coward trying to pretend she was asleep. Swallowing nervously It slowly got to her paws and limped towards the where she thought the cat was. When she stuck her head out her ears pricked up. Where were they? She could've sworn they were still out there but she saw no one. She had no idea that there was a huge cat on her blind side just out of site. The injuries that covered her entire body ached and burned. The worst was the ones where the wound over her left eye that had blinded her, and the in her right paw that was infected and covered in cobwebs. Shrugging she sat don and lifted her paw to try and figure out how to get the cobwebs off her paw without hurting her foot even more. "Why would someone put icky cobwebs on me?" As the tom cat sat down beside the den, his remaining eye settled on the den as he tilted his head to watch for the appearance of the one that had made the sound. Soon, a little white kitten stepped out of the entangled roots before the den. The kitten's ears perked up as they looked around then stepped into the world still looking and Rissenstorm saw the wounds all over the little white child. Then he saw it, well, her now that he had a better look at the kitten as she sat down and lifted her right paw and gazed at it as if puzzling something over in her mind. Then her tiny thought was mewed outloud, though Rissenstorm didn't think he was supposed here her.
Why would someone put icky cobwebs on me? Chuckling softly Rissenstorm mewed toward the kitten again. "Hello little one. If I remember the rules of Clan life, I believe that they put the cobwebs on you to help your injuries to stop bleeding. Are you new to NightClan or just to the forest? And what's your name child?" Rissenstorm told her as he tilted his head again to peer at the little white kitten. The little ball of white fluff seemed to poke at something in the deep, chocolate tabby's mind. Was this the little kitten that Nightstar had mentioned to the clan? The kitten that had gone from being simply called It to becoming Snowkit? If she was, Rissenstorm would have to let her know that she was a part of his Clan now, that she no longer needed to fear the Clan and she no longer needed to be called by It. Smiling, Rissenstorm waited to see if now the kitten would be able to find him. As she'd come out of the den, Rissenstorm had noticed that she seemed to be blinded on her left side too, just like himself, though she had been lucky enough to retain her left eye, not like him, he'd completely lost his left eye. Smiling Rissenstorm then lay down as he looked to the kitten. She really was adorable. Rissenstorm may come across and mean, evil, and wicked, not to mention scary looking but he really was a gentle, sweet cat when it came to kittens. Lying there, gazing at the kitten, his long, fluffy tail wrapped around his side and settled just past his chest as he smiled again, watching the snowy kitten.

It had thought she was all alone and had nearly been about to pull the cobwebs from her paw when a deep voice spoke from her blind side. She let out a frightened squeak and jumped, spinning around to get whoever had spoken in her line of site. What she saw was a huge terrifying looking tom cat. She let out another squeak and took a step back. She was so scared so almost didn't hear what else he said. But she did hear it. To stop bleeding? She didn't know they could do that. He asked her if she was new to the clan life or to the forest, then he asked her name. She swallowed nervously trying to get the nerve to speak up to him. Would he hit her if she spoke like her father did? Was this all a trick? She bit her bottom lip thinking. "I-I-I" She swallowed again then gave it another try. "I-I'm n-n-not new t-t-to the f-f-forest, j-just n-new t-to the c-c-clan." There that answered one of his question though getting the nerve to speak that much had caused her to begin shaking and wincing at every little move the large male made. Now what should she say about her name? She was only a moon old and during that first moon she had always been called It, nothing else. "It, m-my name i-is It!" There second part down. She let out a sigh of relief to finally be done talking for at least a minute. Ishararain |

The dark, chocolate tabby peered across at the snowy kitten and then he smiled as she jumped a little with a squeak. Well, he hadn't meant to scare the poor little thing. Then she squeaked again as she stopped and peered at him. Curling his snow dipped paws beneath his frame, Rissenstorm tried to appear as non-threatening as he could to the tiny snowy kitten. He watched as the kitten bit her bottom lip as she seemed to be extremely nervous upon peering at him. He really couldn't blame her though, he was an imposing creature. His ears switched forward as the kitten replied to his first question, I-I-I I-I'm n-n-not new t-t-to the f-f-forest, j-just n-new t-to the c-c-clan. Pleased that the snowy kitten had answered his first question, Rissenstorm smiled encouragingly toward the kitten as she seemed to try to get up the courage to speak again. Eventually though, through all the shaking and wincing at his movements, the kitten spoke again, It, m-my name i-is It! Smiling, Rissenstorm looked over at the snowy kitten. So this was the one that had been spoken of by Nightstar. Wrapping his fluffy tail around himself, Rissenstorm looked to the kitten again and mewed a response to her. "Well young one, welcome to the embrace of NightClan. And now youngster, you no longer need to go by 'It'. Nightstar just enlightened the Clan to the fact that you have gained your name, you are now called Snowkit. Welcome to the clan Snowkit." He told her as his tail twitched a little as he smiled encouragingly to the kitten now called Snowkit. "Speaking" Listening Notes: @firefly Hehehe, aww. |

It tried to calm down but she couldn't help but be terrified that at any moment she would be attacked. Her whole life which has only been a moon she had been beat up on for as long as she could remember. She was terrified that these cats would be the same as her father and siblings. Her whole body was shaking from fear as she waited for the claws to come out and strike her down.
But they never did instead the huge tom cat spoke to her. Her body was so tense it caused her to jump again. He was welcoming her to Nightclan. She had heard of the clans but she had no idea what they were called until now. Next he told her that she was no longer to be called It. That some cat named Nightstar had given her a new name, she was now called Snowkit. Though she may no longer be called It, her old name was a part of her new name. She could hear it in kit.
"Snowkit, Snooowkit. Hmm! Well I guess it suits me." She looked up at the snow falling from the sky. "My fur is the same color as the snow. But why the kit part? It still has my old name in it. Wouldn't it be better just to be called Snow or something like that?" Her curiosity over powered her fear for a brief moment at the very least so she spoke with no stutter and her body momentarily stopped shaking.

000 words You think your mad. You aint seen nothing yet. | Rissenstorm smiled as he watched the white kitten as he told her what he had heard from their Clan leader. Smiling, the dark chocolate tom's ears switched to the kitten's voice, Snowkit, Snooowkit. Hmm! Well, I guess it suits me. My fur is the same color as the snow. But why the kit part? It still has my old name in it. Wouldn't it be better just to be called Snow or something like that? Chuckling as he watched her, Rissenstorm smiled again as he looked to her and parted his muzzle to respond to her again.
"It does fit you young one. That's just how Clan names work child. They go something-kit, something-paw and then, you get a name like mine. It's strange and complicated honestly. Just suffice it to say it takes some getting used to." Rissenstorm told her with a smile. He liked this little kit. He knew almost as soon as he saw her that he would want to do everything to make sure she stayed safe from everything.
Not that he wouldn't do everything he could to make sure that all of his Clanmates stayed safe, but he was going to pay extra special attention to Snowkit, the darling kitten had captured his heart for some strange reason. Perhaps it was the similar wounds they shared or maybe his fatherly instincts were starting to kick in. Or maybe it was both, but Rissenstorm knew they'd met for some reason.

Hmm, this clan stuff was so different from her life with inside the rogue group. She had a name, a real name, she would no longer be called It, or that cat. She was now Snowkit, she smiled. She liked the sound of that. So Snowkit, Snowpaw, she wondered what her warrior name would be when she became a warrior someday. Maybe Snowflake? That thought made her giggle ever so slightly. Well whatever it was it would be better then being called It. Snowkit was quickly warming up to this large scary looking warrior named Rissenstorm. She felt safe, she actually felt safe for the first time in her life with him nearby. She padded forward and curled up next to him. "You know something," She paused as her jaws stretched wide in a yawn. She was beginning to get sleepy. "For the first time in my life, I feel safe." Tail wrapped closely around his form he watched as she giggled a little and Rissenstorm tilted his head a little as he tried to figure what it might be that had made her giggle and then she was moving toward him and then, with just the slightest bit of surprise he felt her curl up beside him. As he gazed upon her, his ears switched toward her voice, You know something, and then she finished her statement, For the first time in my life, I feel safe. Rissenstorm chuckled softly as she yawned and as he watched her drift toward sleep, Rissenstorm purred softly as he mewed gently to the kitten, "As long as I am around, you will always be safe..." Then he shifted just slightly and draped his paws and tail over her protectively while she slept.
