Inksplash was itching for a fight, he hadn't been chosen to become the next deputy and this infuriated Inksplash. How could Onyxstar not have chosen him? He had fought just as hard asFoxshade if not harder. Not to mention he was extremely loyal to his clan and was often putting his own life on the line to make Obsidianclan better and better. He had been so sure he would be made deputy, he had smiled and congratulated Foxshade but in all reality, he loathed him for stealing the position he had wanted so badly. Since he couldn't take his rage out on his Foxshade or his leader he headed to the border that they shared with Ravineclan in the hopes of running into a cat on it's own. He would especially enjoy toying with an apprentice. As he reached the border he hid behind a bush and scented the air. Yes there was the scent of Ravineclan. And before his eyes he watched a young apprentice fresh from the nursery mustn't be more than six moons old dart over the border after a rabbit. His lips curled into a smile as he darted out from his hiding place and tackled the apprentice. "Well, well, well what do we have here? A kitten crossing the border how stupid can you get?" Lifting his right paw he slashed down on it's shoulder making it scream in pain. The wound was deep but no where near deadly. He lifted his paw once more and licked the blood from it. "Delicious," he purred. He could hear another cat calling out searching most likely for this very apprentice. Darn he wasn't going to be able to play with it much longer for soon the cat would smell it's blood. Sheathing his paws he batted at the young apprentice knocking it around like a toy. Finally, he sank his fangs deep into one of it's legs until he heard a crunch. He wouldn't kill the cat, not yet he wanted to see how the cat searching for this kit would react. Maybe he could have some more fun. The young apprentice had passed out from pain but if taken care of by a medicine cat would probably be able to still become a warrior though he would be scarred for life. Picking the apprentice up he carried it to the very edge of his border and set him down on his side as he waited for the cat to make it's appearance. He could hear it's paws thrumming over the ground running to him. Inksplash smiled knowing that whoever it was, was coming for this apprentice. He might still kill it to make up for not getting the chance to finish that young she-cat Novapaw during the battle. Notes: This is open to Ravineclan cats only at this moment but after a bit Obsidianclan cats are welcome to join in I'll post when another Obsidianclan cat may enter. ☀ Oliveheart ☀ (since no one else has posted  I was wondering if you could bring Oliveheart in? No one would get killed or badly injured except the NPC apprentice I just want to cause a little more stress between the two clans lol ^_^) |

Oliveheart was leading a two-cat patrol that day, with just her and her apprentice Novapaw, who was very close in age to becoming a full warrior. She was so proud of her. They were out on a border patrol, and as they approached the river border with ObsidianClan, she expected to find what she had for the past moon; no sign of any cat trespassing from ObsidianClan. They had been rather quiet lately, which was a relief, though odd for them... nothing prepared the RavineClan deputy for what she smelled.
Blood. The blood of a cat.
Her body tensing up, Oliveheart signaled for Novapaw to follow as she took off toward the scent of blood. She stopped at the tree line by the river and was horrified by what she saw. She smelled ObsidianClan and RavineClan together and found that a warrior of the opposing clan had brutalized one of her clan's apprentices!
"You snake-heart!" she roared, jumping out from the bushes, not thinking that there could be an ambush waiting for her. That was her downfall, she sometimes never realized those things and acted impulsively. "What are you doing in RavineClan territory, and why have you assaulted one of our apprentices? State your name!" she demanded.

Novapaw was patrolling the border with her mentor probably for the last time. It wouldn't be long now before she was made into a warrior. And she couldn't wait for that day to come, she wondered what her warrior name would be. At the same moment Oliveheart stopped and seemed to smell blood Novapaw caught the smell as well and a shiver ran down her spine. She had a bad feeling. She quickly raced after her mentor, when they got to where the scent of blood was coming from she froze in fear. Was he dead? No she saw him breathing. "That's Owlpaw,"[/b Novapaws eyes grew wide. "Curse you Obsidianclan scum," She hissed angrily at him and darted towards him only to stop a few tail-lengths away. "LET OWLPAW GO RIGHT NOW!"
Inksplash
Inksplash looked up at the sound of thundering paw steps grew closer. "Ah if it isn't Oliveheart and Novapaw. To bad I was unable to finish you off last time." He smirked as he heard them yowl at them. "Ah so his name is Owlpaw? Well Owlpaw was caught trespassing into our territory. I had every right to attack him after all he was trying to kill our prey." He hissed and bent his head licking at his blood. "Yummy, but hey at least I didn't kill him unlike what I'll do to you Novapaw if I ever get my claws on you again."
Turning to Oliveheart he sneered, "Your territory? Are you blind or just stupid? I am in Obsidianclan territory at the very edge of our border. There is just a tiny space where the river doesn't block and your mouse-brained apprentice crossed it." With that he kicked the tom across the short distance of the border. When he did a soft groan escaped the cat.

True, he was not technically in their territory, but he had crossed the river! And Owlpaw; he was only 6 moons old, he most likely had no idea about where the borders were just yet. Oliveheart snarled at the tom, feeling enraged.
"Owlpaw just received his apprentice name a few days ago! You did not have to brutalize him, you could have chased him back into our territory with a warning! He will have scars forever because of this," she growled.
Oliveheart unsheathed her claws. "You would have killed him had we not arrived in time. Why do you break the warrior code, you and your clan?" she asked calmly with a stern tone of bottled rage, wanting to attack him, but... he was not on their territory and it would be considered trespassing if she went after him.

Onyxstar was following Inksplash, he knew the tom was angry about not being deputy and he wanted to make sure he did not do anything to endanger their plan to attack Ravineclan. Sniffing the air he follows the scent up to the Ravineclan border. He see's Inksplash with... her That blasted she-cat from the gathering. Scenting the air one last time he picks up the scent of blood and an unknown apprentice. Or... two apprentices he thinks to himself. Crouching in a bush he watches with an interest to see how Oliveheart reacts. As she gets closer to the border with her anger he steps hout from the bush, "Well, well, well What have we here?" His voice scratching like fingernails on a chalkboard makes the bloodied apprentice wince. He sneers at the other apprentice and says "Best scurry off little mouse" his voice lowers into a harsh whisper "Or you may find how TRUE those rumers are that you mother tells you, how we kill for fun, how we aim to cripple... oh you better run... before we want to have fun"

Novapaw hissed angrily though at the same time she became filled with fear as she recalled that night so long ago where he vowed to kill her someday. "I'm almost a warrior I'd like to see you try," she spat at him. Her tail thrashed from side to side as he licked Owlpaws blood then kicked his body the last few inches across the border until he was on Ravineclans side. She darted forward and grabbed him gently pulling him further away from the border. Would he really have killed Owlpaw fresh from the nursery? The thought filled her with rage. Wait what was that? Her eyes widened as Onyxstar appeared. When he spoke to her and told her to scurry off. "I already know they're true you rat faced, fox-hearted monster. For what cat or clan would attack a cat like your warrior did Owlpaw?"Inksplash Inksplash sneered, "Ah so that was why he's so pathetically week? He didn't even fight back he tried to run but I wouldn't let that happen without some scars to remember me by." He began to laugh, a cruel harsh sounding laugh, "that was the whole point you disgrace of a warrior. If you shred them up a bit they'll remember next time to never cross the border. It's a hard lesson to learn," he shook his head as if he was sad that it had to be done but the glint in his eyes said other wise. When Onyxstar stepped out for a second he frowned wondering if he had been following him or if it was just a coincidence. He was about to ask when he began talking. What he said made him laugh harder than before. He had been expecting them to take the apprentice and flee while they had the chance. And for a moment he thought they were for Novapaw came and retrieved the apprentice dragging him farther from the border. But then she stepped closer and spat some pretty nasty words at his leader calling him a rat face fox-hearted monster. Enraged Inksplash yowled angrily and leaped at the apprentice. "How dare you filthy piece of two-leg trash say such things to my leader." The two quickly fell into a fight. (Ollie is next ☀ Oliveheart ☀) |

Oliveheart smirked lightly when her apprentice called the leader of ObsidianClan those names. He deserved it, being the cat he was. He was worse than Obsidianstar, and Nightstar had been right to refuse to call him by his 'star' suffix.
The ObsidianClan warrior sent shock into her as he leaped over the border and at Novapaw, and the two fell into battle. Oliveheart would attack Onyxstar if he crossed the border himself, but for now she leaped onto Inksplash and attempted to rake her sharp claws down his back while she saw the opportunity.
"Get out of our territory, Inksplash!" she roared.

| Onyx star laughs and he says "Rats are quick and smart, Foxes are wily and strong, so I thank you for the complement. " He smiles with approval as Inksplash attacks the young apprentice. His eyes narrow as Oliveheart joins in. "Hardly fair is that..." He mutters to himself. He steps archers the border and grunts as he tries to make the young apprentice run form his fear control. He looks as Oliveheart throws herself onto the warrior. He steps behind her and tries to hook his claws into her back and throw her backwards

Novapaw's eyes widened as she watched in like slow motion as Inksplash leaped across the border at her with fangs and claws bared. She barely had time to react before he was on top of her and she felt his claws rake her muzzle and his fangs sink into her right shoulder causing her to let out a yowl of pain. But she wasn't going to go down that easily. She batted at his belly with her back legs. her adrenaline racing blocking everything that was going on except her and Inksplash so she never felt Onyxstar's fear powers trying to make her run. Her adrenaline was too high and she was already terrified. But when she was afraid and the fight or flight motion took over she fought. She felt Inksplash's weight begin to lift off of her momentarily but returns within seconds. Inksplash felt Novapaws claws rake his belly and he hissed more from anger than pain. He heard Oliveheart yowl at him to get off their territory. "Oh shut your ugly yapper you mouse-brained idiot," he grumbled as he continued to fight with Novapaw. He let go of her shoulders and brought his muzzle close to her ear. "Now this is my chance to finally kill you Novakit." He whispered just loud enough for her to hear. He snapped at her throat but she yanked her head back just in time and twisted around in his grip. "NO I WON'T LET YOU ESCAPE!" He yowled angrily and rose up on his hind legs batting at her his claws slashing across her muzzle and chest until she finally lost her footing and fell. This was his chance. He lunged at her throat once again but at the last second she twisted around until her back was facing him and his fangs sank into her right shoulder. Hissing angrily he stood up on his hind legs then threw all his weight at her. (Ollie it's your turn ☀ Oliveheart ☀ ) |

Oliveheart missed Inksplash with her attack as she felt claws raking down her back, sending her backward onto her side. Onyxstar had crossed the border, and she could feel the rage swelling up inside of her. She flattened her ears, in a heartbeat stood right back up and faced the ObsidianClan leader. He had nine lives and this was not a fair fight, but that wasn't going to make the small brown she-cat run for her life.
She let Novapaw and Inksplash duke it out, and bristled her tail as she faced him. She did not have to say a word, her gaze said it all; she was not Ravinestar, for if she truly felt her clan was endangered she would not hesitate to kill a cat. If she had to, she would kill Onyxstar nine times over. She hissed at him.
Oliveheart leaped forward at him, claws unsheathed as far out as they would go, her blood boiling with rage, and she tricked Onyxstar and made it seem like she was going for his jugular straight on... but right as she was about to hit the leader there, she veered off to the side and brought her claws down on his side, trying to give him a long gash from his shoulder down to his back legs.

There are torn claws, frozen bones and chills in my heart where the dark things reside.
| Onyxstar only smiles at the hissing Oliveheart, you think, you can beat ME?" As she charges he expects her to try and knock him down, she moves to the side he buries his front paws into the dirt and kicks up with his back legs swinging them over Oliveheart's head and landing with his face to her back. The sting from her claws on his shoulder makes hims laugh and say, "Come on now! Our kits fight better than you, it's my turn now." He narrows his eyes at her and aims a simple swing over his head aiming to hit her right eye. He follows up that strike with a quick slash aimed at her chest.

Novapaw had managed to dodge two death blows, she only hoped she could dodge the next one as well. These were the thoughts that were racing through her head as she sliced her claws across Inksplash's nose splitting it open and causing it to bleed. A shiver of fear raced down her spine at his whispered words. She had known her life was on the line but she hadn't realized how much the tom was going to enjoy killing her until just then. She fought down a wave of fear and hissed at him, "no, your wrong. This is my chance to finally stop you." As soon as she said that she felt his fangs sink into her shoulder. She gritted her teeth refusing to yowl out in pain knowing it would only please him. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Onyx and her mentor fighting. She wanted to help her but knew she could do nothing until she either chased Inksplash off or killed him. Preferably the later it would be one less murderous cat her clan would have to deal with. She dropped to the ground and rolled just as Inksplash's legs crashed down on the ground his claws sinking deep into the earth where her head had been only seconds before. Bouncing to her feet she leaped onto his back and sank her front claws into her fur while her back claws shredded his back. At the same time, she snapped her jaw at his neck but got his left ear, catching it she pulled and shook her head. Inksplash He missed? How could he have missed? She had been right beneath him her head should be crushed under her paws. But instead, she jumped on top of him and was shredding his back. She jumped and shook himself trying to dislodge her. When he jumped he felt her jaws sink into his ear. He let out a yowl as he felt his ear begin to tear. Enraged he began to roll over and over and over until she finally was shaken off. Jumping to his feet fur was hanging off in clumps on his back and his left ear was hanging by a thin piece of skin. His mouth was foaming and he was panting hard. "I'LL KILL YOU," he yowled before once more leaping at her. (Making the battle last a little longer lol sorry  ) |

Oliveheart shrieked in rage, her eyes remaining green yet glowing a faint red as the rage built up inside of her. Nothing was predictable from her now, she would kill if she had to. Maybe Ravinestar would be upset, but right now all she thought of was her clan's safety.
The small brown she-cat quickly goes to sink her fangs in his arm as it comes down to swipe at her chest, wanting to shake it violently until it bled and was torn. "Wait until you see what a true warrior is made of!"

| As he makes contact the stupid she-cat sinks her fangs into his paw. She bloodies the fur and she she is exposed he say "Alright little one, is it like that? YOU THINK YOU CAN FIGHT? YOU THINK YOU KNOW WHAT I CAN DO?" Without hesitation he rips his paw free sending blood spattering all over. with a call torn out and blood still spraying from his paw his orange eyes blaze with fury. He straightens his shoulders fakes a strike at her head. As fast as a snake he darts the same paw at her leg trying to bris her shin. Immediately after that he sends a powerful blood at her ribs with his claws sheathed to try and inflict internal damage.

Inskplash slashed his claws at Novapaws eyes smiling when he connected with one eye but missed the other. While she wailed in pain from that attack he took his chance to look up and see how his leader was doing. He was pleased to see that he seemed to be winning his battle as well. With that, he returned his attention to Novapaw he saw that the eye he had swept was beginning to swell and delighted in the thought that if she didn't die today she would be forever blind in that eye. Leaping at her he sank his fangs into her rear left leg. Before he killed her he wanted to cause her as much pain as possible. He bit as hard as he could until he felt his teeth hit bone then he shook his head until he heard a crack.
Novapaw saw Inksplash coming for her and lurched back but wasn't fast enough, his claws raked her right eye which sent an explosion of pain through her face and she could no longer see through that eye. She didn't know if it was temporary or permanent. She let out a loud wail from the pain and shook her head. She could feel the warmth of blood on her face, had she lost her eye or was it just damaged? While she was thinking these things Inksplash had time to attack her again and before she knew it an explosion of pain lanced through her rear left leg. She tried to shake him off and even tried to yank her leg out of his grip but nothing worked. And when she heard the crack the pain became so intense she collapsed on the ground. He had broke her leg he just knew it, she couldn't fight with only three legs and being blind in one eye. She didn't want to die.
Inksplash smiled as she fell. He let go of her leg and slowly made his way towards her head. "Yes this is how it will end Novakit. With you lying broken on the ground unable to defend yourself and me about to kill you." With that he bent his head reaching for the back of her neck.
(Maybe you can have a patrol of Ravineclanners hear the fighting or something? And they come in and attack Inksplash and Onyx)
