Oliveheart gazes in shock up at Onyxstar as he rips his paw free of her fangs, blood spraying everywhere on the ground and onto her face as well. Quick like lightning, she feels her leg get bruised badly, and since she was not expecting him to do that she is caught off guard and dazed.
Another blow hits her rib cage and she yowls in pain, knowing that something ended up damaged from Onyxstar's powerful attack. Adrenaline rushed through her veins and she, with anger, turns on the leader of ObsidianClan and as quickly as she possibly could manage, she tries to clamp her fangs down on his face, making her exposed to a neck slash.
"STARCLAN CURSE YOU AND YOUR CLAN!"

There are torn claws, frozen bones and chills in my heart where the dark things reside.
| Onyx star grits his teeth and exhales quickly, what he was about to do was... unorthodox. As she opens her jaws Onyxstar jams his head forward and up aiming for her jaws. He teeth cut his ears and head and he winces in surprise and he swings a blow only to catch himself in the chest. Aiming slightly higher he swings a powerful but quite wild claws-sheathed blow at Olive's throat trying to stop the air from flowing for a moment so he can recover.

Novapaw's eyes widened with fear and she struggled to get to her paws. She had three left. But she felt him grab the back of her neck. "NOOO," she yowled in fear and shook her head and did everything she could to shake him loose. "Oliveheart," she cried out.
Nightstar was on her way to talk with Ravinestar, now that the borders were open she was free to come and go as she pleased. On her way, she heard a cat cry out and could smell blood. Fearing Ravinestar was in trouble she took off running towards the smell of blood and the sound of battle. As she reached there she saw a large warrior standing over a smaller cat which must have been an apprentice. She also saw Onyx and Oliveheart battling. Oliveheart would have to deal with him for a moment she had to help the apprentice. She ran at him yowling and grabbed him by the throat and pulled him off. She slashed at his face with his claws and then sank her teeth into his leg and shook it. She was pretty sure she dislocated it when she heard it pop.
Inksplash sank his teeth deeper into her neck but just before he could kill her someone bit his throat and pulled him off. He let go and yowled in fury as she slashed his face causing a deep cut just above his eye that began to bleed furiously temporarily blinding him in that eye because of the blood. As he turned to fight he felt the cat grab his leg and the next thing he knew there was a loud pop and his leg was in extreme pain. Howling in pain he turned and fled. "Just you wait Nightstar I'll get you for this," he yowled as he retreated.

Oliveheart screeched in pain as Onyxstar thrust his head into her mouth, one of her sharp fangs tearing a wound on his head, though breaking off and leaving a half-fang. She saw him going for her throat and swiftly she leaped forward, clamping onto his head as tight as she could, and flipped them. She crashed to the ground, flipped purposely, on her back with Onyxstar on top of her, then the RavineClan deputy fell onto her side quickly and with all her might kicked his body with unsheathed back-claws across the cold, blood-stained snow. She sent him tumbling painfully.
Panting, she recovered a split moment, but that was all the time she had before she heard her apprentice Novapaw screaming out for her. Oliveheart shot up and rushed in to help her, seeing that Inksplash had Novapaw in a neck hold and was ready to kill her.
The brown she-cat skidded to a halt as a familiar black she-cat came and attacked Inksplash, sending him into retreat back into ObsidianClan territory. Oliveheart approached the deeply injured Novapaw and licked her wounds. "Are you okay, Novapaw?" she asked frantically. "Hang in there...!"
Looking up at Nightstar, she smiled. "Thank you so much, Nightstar," she said, her eyes filling with tears of relief. "Inksplash would have killed my apprentice without your help..."
Oliveheart forgot about her own wounds and pain. She did not care at the moment. She wanted every one of her clan mates safe, treated by Tigershade and home in camp. Then, and only then, would she allow herself to rest.

As Oliveheart kicks him away he rolls into the river. choaking on blood and river water he forces himself to hook his paws into the dirt on the tiver bank. He hauls himself up and collapses. turning his head slightly he sees that the river has a red streak that quickly disperces. Standing up he knows that something has ruptured in his belly. His vision blurrs and a cat breifly walks along his vision. He shakes his head clear and struggles to recover. With a breath he starts towards the two cats and the injured Novapaw. Wincing he grimices and keeps going. He pours all he has into his fear aura. Not able to control what they see he does not know their fears but is sure they are bad. His fur mangled and his body broken and bleeding he was a sight to behold. HE narrows his eyes to slits and he says "Get AWAY!" He charges with blood now flowing freely from his ears and head and throws him self into Oliveheart and tries to also catch Nightstar with his leg as he flies towards them. Shaking his head clear of cats he does not know he rears up on his back feet and lashes out at Oliveheart and as he comes down he aims to bring his other paw crashing down on Novapaw's head.

Novapaw blinked up at her mentor as she ran over to her, she was numb, she felt no pain her body felt weightless. She blinked and she saw Onyxstar charge her mentor. "Onyx.. watch out," she gasped with whatever strength she had left. There was blood flowing from her neck wound and was beginning to form a pool around her. Nightstar heard the apprentices whispered warning and spun around. She couldn't let him harm Novapaw, it was obvious to her that she was not long for this world with all the blood coming from her. "Oliveheart, you need to take care of Novapaw. She's bleeding too much if it isn't stopped she'll die." As she watched as he came down towards Novapaw to crush her skull she leaped over Novapaw and blocked the attack with her own body. She thrust all her weight with a shoulder block aiming for his stomach. Bolt in your next attack swipe your claws at Nightstars throat ok |

Oliveheart was about to turn on Onyxstar and slash him somewhere, wherever she could, but Nightstar took his blow. Part of her could hardly take in that another clan leader would fight for her clan, but she was glad she was doing so. They needed help, and being so alone out here was not the best. Ravinestar was smart for forming this alliance of unity.
Oliveheart heeded the NightClan leader's words and turned her attention to her apprentice Novapaw, while Nightstar fought the ObsidianClan leader. The brown she-cat pulled her apprentice by the scruff away from the fighting cats gently, careful not to wound her any more than she already was.
"Novapaw!" she snapped in shock as she noticed how weak and tired the apprentice was. Then, the RavineClan deputy's soul left her body to stand beside her when she laid her eyes on the wound that was causing it all. Her neck... was open and bleeding...? "Damn Inksplash... damn his clan..."
'This isn't good,' thought Oliveheart frantically as she desperately tried to block up and stop the bleeding by placing paws hard against the wound. 'Tigershade, please, may StarClan let you be nearby...'
The bleeding slowed, but was still flowing at a dangerous pace. Novapaw was losing a lot of blood.
RAVINESTAR
 Ravinestar had been walking in the woods, casually looking for a good hunt. Perhaps even with the intent to visit Nightstar, his love. When he got near the river border with ObsidianClan, his heart sunk as he smelled the scent of blood. He raced through the remainder of woods between him and the river, and burst out into the open, his paws hitting the snowy rocks like a crash of thunder. He saw an apprentice severely beaten, Novapaw bleeding heavily and being cared for by Oliveheart his deputy, and Nightstar fighting off Onyxstar the leader of ObsidianClan. He flattened his ears and hissed menacingly as he charged forward at the black tom. His launched himself at Onyxstar, claws unsheathed. "ONYXSTAR!"

Onyxstar grunts and yelps as Nightstar body slams him. He coughs up blood all over nightstar as he suffers more internal damage. Somehow still on his feet he bares his teeth and they glisten with blood. "My turn." He advances on her throwing a heavy over-head blod aimed at her head followed up by a quick slash to her legs. He keeps advancing and he tries to shove her backwards. he lunges forward and lashes out at her throat snarling as he does so.
Whiping around he hears Ravinestar call his name. The tom lunges at him and Onyx rolls under his belly. He taunts ravinestar and says "You better run ravinestar! You better run! And NEVER STOP! Because I swear when you do... I will find you, and you're precious 'Nightstar'" He spits out her name and continues. "When I find you I will bring you to the meeting place... and you're ghosts will haunt it forever! On that night you won't have ear's. You won't have eyes or a tounge. You will wander the depths of starclan Blind, Deaf and Dumb and the whole wold will know, this is Ravinestar. THe fool who thought he could scratch an Onyx!" As he tries to get into his head he expands his fear aura even more and slashes at the tom.

Spoken Words A cough began to rack Novapaw's body when she coughed blood came up. Seeing the blood filled her with fear so strong, stronger than any Onyx could try and make her feel because she knew she was dying. She began to cry, even the tears coming from her eyes were tinged red with her blood. "Oliveheart... if you.." another coughing fit started and she began to struggle to breathe. "If you.. ever find my... my sister... let her know that... that I love her... and I tried." She looked up at her mentor with fear filled eyes. "Please... grant me... this... last... request."WORDS: 000 NOTES: better finish this battle up soon Novapaw isn't going to last much longer and I want her to receive her warrior name Novaflight before she dies. [googlefont="Griffy"][googlefont="Abel"] SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Speech Nightstar smiled pleased with herself but before she had the chance to recover from her attack Onyx came at her. He hit her head which sent her stumbling back and giving her head a shake. While she stepped back he went for her front legs. She let out a startled cry and fell. She looked up at Onyx with wide frightened as he came at her with the longest claws she had ever seen. She felt the fur of her neck rip and could even hear it. The pain was unbearable for only a moment. After a minute the pain began to ebb away. She closed her eyes and whispered one word "Ravinestar," before the darkness over took her and she began to loose her very first life. Would this blow to her neck take away more than one life? Would it kill her for good? Those were her last thoughts.
A moment passed and she felt warm fur brush against her. She opened her eyes and blinked. "Stormfall... am I dead? Like dead dead? Did Onyx rip all nine of my lives from me?" Stormfall laughed, "No he claimed only one you needed fear you'll return shortly your body just needs time to heal. But Novapaw is another story sadly. We'll be sending Sagefur to welcome her to Starclan. It won't be long now and she'll never feel pain again."  | Tigershade left camp, he was restless and he couldn't figure out why. He ha gone through all of his herbs they were low but there wasn't anything he could really do about it until new leaf. Maybe he just needed to take a walk? Sighing he padded along the forest trail not paying attention to where he was going, not knowing that his paws were leading him towards the border with Obsidianclan where he would find fighting, blood and death of not just one but two one being a leader. As he got closer the scent of blood reached him and he picked up his speed. "Is this why I've been restless? Is my clan in danger?" He burst through some bush's and saw Onxystar of Obsidianclan strike the death blow at.. Nightstar? What was she doing there? He could tell there was nothing for him to do so he raced towards the bleeding apprentice. "What's wrong with her..... oh no." He saw the blood on her lips and coming from her eyes. "Oliveheart... I'm sorry but nothing can be done for Novapaw. The only thing we can do is be there for her during her last moments and pray for her safe journey to Starclan." Turning to look to his leader he shouted, "Hurry up and chase that murderer away you need to give Novapaw her warrior name she's not going to last long enough to get her back to camp." Turning to look around he couldn't find any moss but maybe, just maybe snow would work. "Olivehert we need to give her as much time as possible help me pack the neckwound with snow." He began to grab pawfuls of it and press it into the wound.

Oliveheart was so relieved when she saw Tigershade approaching. "Tigershade!" She called to him. When he was beside her looking at Novapaw, she sighed in relief and thanked StarClan for the miracle of his arrival. He expected him to say something about how fix her apprentice, but...
Her green eyes widened at the news and grew watery. Her heart sank in her chest like an iron weight. "No..." she whispered, hardly able to get out the words. She loved her apprentice, she was a very good friend of hers, one of her only true friends in the clan. Who else did she really have? Her siblings weren't close to her, and her mother was not either. Ravinestar would be all she had left, and she knew he was on his last few lives and was growing older.
"NOVAPAW! I won't let you die," she cried, licking off the blood from her neck wound. She obeyed Tigershade's instructions and packed snow into the wound, pressing firmly to prevent as much bleeding as possible.
She wished that she could keep that promise... but there was another promise that Oliveheart could keep, and would keep. "Novapaw, I-I promise I will avenge you... I'll send Inksplash to BloodClan for you," the brown she-cat stammered in tears, sobbing and gasping in grief.
'Please, StarClan, don't take her... she didn't even receive her warrior name yet...'
RAVINESTAR
Ravinestar missed his attack on Onyxstar and skidded to a stop, getting his footing again. He turned to face the ObsidianClan leader, but his heart sunk in terror as he realized his mate Nightstar had just been slaughtered by the lawless cat. The gray furred leader bristled his fur and snarled, showing his fangs, his whole body being filled with rage as if it had been sourced from an adder bite. Ravinestar felt fear grow in his heart, as if a force or aura from Onyxstar was strangling him like a demon or snake. But Ravinestar was too old for a trick like that. He had nothing to lose, except his clan if he paid attention to his fear. If he died, he died; he had no qualms with dying for his clan. "You've gone too far, Onyxstar. I will not run, nor fear an evil cat. But I will send you to BloodClan where you belong!!"Ravinestar bolted forward as fast as he could and extended his claws with everything he had. He felt the force of StarClan with him. 'This is for RavineClan... and for you, my sweet Nightstar...' he thought before he struck. The RavineClan leader brought his claws up from under Onyxstar and broke through the tom's throat, tearing through his windpipe and muscle. Blood spurted and flowed from the tom's fatal wound. Ravinestar's claws exited out at the tip of Onyxstar's chin, the gash deep and overflowing with blood. "Rot with the rest of the BloodClan scum," he growled, putting his bloody paw down and watching the dying leader. Ravinestar's heart grew painfully regretful as soon as he had said that and was deeply grieved that it had come to this. Had he exploded in anger? Had he made the right choice to kill Onyxstar? "Onyxstar, I forgive you for what you've done... let this feud between us end now," he said, his eyes watering in sorrow. The ObsidianClan leader most likely wouldn't feel too pleasant about his words, but he had to say what he had to say. He hoped the wound he inflicted would not strip more than one life from him. It was very deep, not too much worse off than Nightstar's. He turned from the tom and went to sit beside Nightstar, licking her wounds. He looked over and saw Tigershade and his deputy Oliveheart with Novapaw. He overheard talk, and could tell that she was dying as well. "Not her too..." he whispered to himself. He got up and padded up to the three cats, pressing his nose into Novapaw's bloodied fur. "You've been a good apprentice, Novapaw. You surely would have made a fine warrior. RavineClan thanks you for your sacrifice, and we will never forget you..."
"I thereby, in the presence of StarClan, name you Novaflight, in honor of your great ability to fly through the trees and hunt squirrels. RavineClan recognizes you as a true warrior, Novaflight."@firefly Bolt
Note: BloodClan is basically RavineClan's version of the Dark Forest and its a clan deep under ground where there is lava and fire, kind of like Hell, and they're made of all evil spirits of passed cats.

| He smiles as Ravinestar charges him and he makes no attempt to move. The Ravineclan leader tears through his throat and his claws almost come out the back of Onyxstar's neck. His final action in that life was to give Ravinestar a smile as he crumbled to the ground.
"Wake up dirtbag."
Eyes flittering open he see's the face of an old cat. "Normaly I would talk, but you need to get back to you're clan. Tonight we will talk more." Confused Onyxstar says "Who are you?"
"Spider's Web."
"Where am I?"
"No more questons."
With a growl Onyxstar tries to stand to his feet but Spider's Web shoves his back to the ground. "You!" He hisses. Spider's Web says "It's time for you to be stronger. We have a gift for you." Onyx star frowns. "We will give you the ability to select what you're enemies see when you affect them with fear. A smile dawns on Onyxstars face. Spider's web says "now, it's time for you to return." A swirl of the land and onyx is back on the ground in real life now. An echo of a voice says "play dead like he took all of you're lives..." the voice trails off.Squinting his eyes he spots three cats standing over the body of Novapaw.

Spoken Words Novapaw stared up at Oliveheart her mentor and best friend in the whole clan. "Will... you... promise me?" She just wanted to hear that she would promise that she would give the message to her sister if she ever met her. "She...she's p.." Once more she began to cough uncontrollably. When it finally stopped it felt like every breath was a struggle. Blood began to bubble on her nose. "She's p..pure white... her name... her name is.... Sssnowbell." She had no idea her sister was a member of the very clan that her clan was waging war against. Hearing the words Novapaw I promise you she smiled. Sound was fading in and out. The next thing she remembers hearing is her leader Ravinestar. She looks up at his with the last of her strength and smiles. "Th-hank... you... Ravinstar." Novaflight, she began to cry once more but this time they were tears of joy. She wasn't going to die an apprentice she was a warrior now. And she had thought her best for her clan. She had the highest honor of dying for her clan. "D-Don't blame... yourselves... this... was... my... my fate." Finally her blackness consumed her when she opened them next she was standing outside of her body. She looked to her clan mates. "I'm sorry, I wish more than anything I could have lived longer. I wasn't ready to die yet." She padded to her mentor and brushed against her and whispered in her ear. "Thank you Oliveheart, for everything. You made my short life worth it all. I wish you nothing but happiness in your future."
Sagefur stood watching the apprentice no warrior. "Novaflight it's time to go now. You will be watching over them from Starclan. And someday you'll be together once again.
Novaflight turned her gaze to Sagefur and gave a teary smile. "Ok Sagefur I'm ready, let's go." She's too young she hasn't had a chance to live yet. Please if you must take one of my lives and give it to her." She didn't want the young apprentice she had been trying to save die.
Stormfall looked at her sadly, "I'm sorry it's too late her body has died and her spirit is already on her way to Starclan." He turned and in the distance, they could see Novaflight walking with Sagefur. "It is too late for her to return to her body but... maybe..."
Nightstar didn't want to hear this, it couldn't be too late. But as Stormfall turned to look at something she to turned to look. It was true. She opened her maw to call out to her but was stopped by Stormfall's words. "But what, what can you do?"
Stormfall sighed, "well if Novaflight wants to return we can have her be reborn as a kit. She would live her whole life over but she would have no memory. She wouldn't remember anything that happened to her in this life. Would you really be willing to give one of your own lives for a cat you don't know?"
All of this was so much to take in. "Wait, Novaflight? Ravinestar was able to give her a warrior name before she died I'm happy to hear that. And yes I am willing to give one of my lives to Novaflight. And she isn't a stranger our clan is like one now. She is a fellow clan mate and one way too young to join Starclan or Bastaven just yet."
Stormfall was surprised but he nodded his head. "Ok as you wish." He stepped forward and set his paw on her forehead and as he pulled it away a see through white shape came out of her. "Now instead of seven lives, you have only six."
As he finished Bastaven and Stormfall began to disappear and her spirit returned to her body. She would never tell anyone what transpired here not even Ravinestar. Everything went black for a moment then Nightstar blinked her eyes open to see Oliveheart, Ravinestar, and Tigershade hovering over Novaflight. "I'm sorry this happened to Nightflight but she is on her way to Starclan I saw her, she looked happy with Sagefur." That was all she would say
[/b][/font] [/div][/div] [/div] | Tigershade stopped shoveling snow into the apprentices open neck. He turned to Oliveheart and sighed shaking his head. "It's not working the blood is soaking through the snow faster then we can put it in." This saddened the medicine cat greatly, his job was to save lives. He felt helpless, useless, there was nothing he could do to help Novapaw. He bowed his head and whispered a silent prayer, "may Starclan guide you." At that moment Ravinestar finished off Onyxstar and came over and named Novapaw Novaflight. "That is a great name Ravinestar for she flew through those trees like she had wings." Tigershade knew how much Novaflight loved being up in the trees and had spent every last second of her spare time up in them chasing squirrels or just running free. A few moments at Novaflight stopped breathing the body of Nightstar began to stir. When he heard her words he sighed with relief. Wait she had been with Sagefur? He would have to tell Honeyvoice that he had been seen.

"I promise I will, if I ever find her," Oliveheart promised her apprentice, and then... she was gone. "Novaflight..."
It was almost as if the brown she-cat had blacked out. Everything was surreal. Her heart was shattered in two when her apprentice took her final breaths. Surprisingly, she did not continue crying; she simply sighed heavily and got up from where she was and went to stand at the river's edge, letting the chilled water soak into her paws. She let the river wash away the blood of Onyxstar and Novaflight.
She stared vacantly into the hilly territory of ObsidianClan across the now bloody water. 'I will destroy you, Inksplash, but first I will destroy everyone you have ever loved... starting with your apprentice,' she thought. 'Fang for fang, claw for claw.'
RAVINESTAR
Ravinestar sat a few tail lengths away, staring at his paws. If only he had been able to do something, if only he had arrived sooner. If only he hadn't let his deputy and her apprentice go out of camp so outnumbered when it was this dangerous around the border. ObsidianClan had invaded their territory! Onyxstar himself had killed Nightstar, on Ravinestar's territory. Something had to be done about it. He just wished it did not have to come to this; more cats were certainly going to die if it came to war. When Nightstar spoke, he shot up from his sitting place and felt... contented... even in this tragic and chaotic time. He smiled and nuzzled her. "Nightstar, are you okay? Did he do any permanent damage?"@firefly Bolt

| Onyx star decides that it's time to end the charade. Standing to his feet he smiles as he approachs the cats "Killing me was the greatest thing you could have ever done. Trust me. I will use this against you and use allies to turn against you." He shakes his head gleefully and starts to back away. "HER BLOOD IS ON YOU'RE HANDS!" He shouts behind him as he starts to leave to go to his camp

| Tigershade sighed, now he would have to carry Novaflight's body back to camp and prepare her for burial. He didn't relish Ravinestar, he would have to tell the entire clan what hat happened here. "I should get Nightflight back so that preparations can be made and her clan mates can say their goodbyes. Oliveheart will you help me?" Grabbing the fiery red coat of Nightflight by the scruff he waited for Oliveheart to grab her and help him carry her to camp so that she wouldn't drag in the snow. As he waited a familiar scent was caught in the air. He set the body down and sniffed the air, no he wasn't wrong a strong scent of sage. She watched and waited for the two to leave and when they finally did leave she let out a sigh of relieve. She turned and looked back at Ravinestar the one she loved more than anything in this world. "I have to tell you, I didn't lose just one life I lost two. My first was taken from me by Onix my second I gave away." Nightstar waited a minute and let what she said sink in before continuing. "I gave it so that Novaflight can return to us someday. Someday she will be reborn as a newborn kit. She will have no memories of who she is when she is born, you must keep this to yourself. If anyone else finds out they may try and jog out her old memories she needs to be able to make her own life. I don't know who she'll be born to but I'm told it will be before next leaf-bare. Don't tell anyone not even Oliveheart. The only way you should tell anyone is if you're on your last and final life and know you won't live then tell who ever will be the next leader." Nightstar knew it would most likely be Oliveheart but things could change before then. There was many seasons to come before her beloved Ravinestar would pass.
She turned to walk away and head back to Nightclan when she remembered the very reason why she had come here in the first place. "Oh and the kits were born," she smiled happily. "I named them Sprucekit, Sunkit, Hollykit, and Crowkit.... Crowkit's different, I'm afraid it's my fault I lost a life while giving birth. Crowkit was still in me when I died. He seems healthy but... well you'll see when you come and visit."
