 TIGRAINE The forty-eight moons old, slender, fine boned, medium-large Somali she-cat yawned and stretched her frame out. Amber eyes opening, as the first fingers of sun crept through the small opening of the dugout that she had spent the evening in. Rael had been kind enough to allow her to live within his bounds and she was not going to make it so that he would retract that agreement. Smiling, Tigraine sprang out of her dugout and looked around to find an easy way to the ground and spying the easiest branches down she made her way to the ground. She wasn't in need of nourishment yet and instead preferred to just enjoy the sunrise as she padded along Rael's bounds. Perhaps she would run into some other being today, someone that she hadn't yet met. The though intrigued the curious she-cat and her eyes roved looking for any signs of life within the world. The large framed tabby, flicked his ears as the worlds seemed to come awake with a click of a button. The birds were making their daily ritual of a song and the sun follow in suit making its climb into the sky. He gave a small smile, glad to see things were all the same. Sitting up from his sleeping position he rolled his shoulders and stretched in preparation of a morning walk. After his muscles seemed to have calmed down he heaved to his large paws and started out the morning right, heading straight for the streams edge. Along the way his mind wandered, should I see V today? He thought but decided to see where his paws would lead him instead after all he didn't want to start bugging her. A ways out from his destination he noted the sound of 'paws'? Looking around he drew his brows in confused who else would be up so early? A fellow sunrise watcher? He couldn't yet see the cat but called out in hopes to catch a friendly conversation. "A lovely day wouldn't you agree.”-No worries and ahhh I thought I replied super sorry for the lateness-Ishararain

Her ears switched and her amber eyes scanned the sunrise painted world. The slight blanket of silver-white snow lying over the brown, dried grasses was splashed with oranges, pinks, and reds as the purple of predawn shifted to the blue of daylight and Tigraine smiled as she padded along. The scents and sounds of Newleaf assaulted the she-cat's senses, but they did not bother her, they actually excited Tigraine. The pale blue she-cat actually loved Newleaf, it was her favorite season. Tigraine padded onward and then she drew up beside a young oak and rose to scratch the bark and leave her scent on the trunk. She lived with Rael and so, the least she could do was help him mark out his bounds. When that was done she stretched again and then, her ears switched again at a small sound, another approaching? The thought intrigued the she-cat and her ears rotated to see where the sound was coming from and then, she thought she had pinpointed the location and turned to gaze in the direction. Then a masculine voice drifted her way, A lovely day wouldn't you agree? Tigraine smiled as she started toward the voice and soon, a large tabby tomcat came into view and Tigraine offered him a pleasant smile. "Yes, it is indeed my good sir. My name is Tigraine, pleasure to meet you." Tigraine told him with another smile as she sat before the tom, almond shaped, amber eyes settling on him with a gentle, yet slightly reserved glint within them as she waited to see where things would lead from here. Ajax sat with a content emotion over coming him. He listened as she told him how she came to be here this very morning. He was rather surprised by how honest and kind she was being. Most rouges were chipped and jagged around the edges and made for very poor company. She however was rather intriguing. "Rael? You stay with a tom in this area?" He glanced around as if he might be able to glimpse this feline. "I can't say i've ever met him, though he must be quite grand if he's such a lovely lady living with him." He flicked his long tail as she added she hadn't yet eaten. He wouldn't mind going for a hunt, morning hunts were always peaceful. "If you haven't had the chance to yet, meet your nourishment requirements. Would you mind coming with me? I mean a growing toms got to eat" He said with a wide goofy smile hoping she wouldn't mind coming with him.

As the tabby tom joined her, Tigraine's ear twitched as he purred warmly, shifting his way as he spoke to her, Pleasure is all mine miss, and you mustn't trouble your self by saying 'Sir' Ajax will do. Ajax, what an interesting name to match the interesting tomcat before her. Then her smile deepened just a touch as Ajax spoke again, Tigraine you said? What a lovely name. What brings you out on such a perfect day? Then her own purr tickled her vocal box as she responded to the tom. "Well, thank you Ajax. Just got up a few minutes ago and descended from my dugout in my friend Rael's territory. I wanted to watch the sun rise and see who and what I would run into this morning. I also didn't need to catch myself anything for nourishment just yet." Tigraine told him with a smile as she looked to him once more. "What about you Ajax? What drew you out this morning?" Tigraine asked as she looked across at him, curiosity warring with her slight weariness of meeting this tom. He hadn't given her a reason to worry too much just yet, but still she was weary of him. She was wary of most tomcats just because of her personality. She tipped her ears to him and waited. Curiosity finally winning out as she waited to see what else would come of this. Perhaps eventually the pair of them might go hunting together. And maybe she'd introduce him to Rael too. Maybe that calico tomcat that she shared her home with would be as nice to Ajax as she had been, or maybe not. She'd just have to wait and see.
