Torchclan

Torchclan is a clan that lives in the golden forest.
The clan is an elemental clan, and was founded by Bloodpelt.

Torchclan is a fantasy elemental clan. Cats can have elements, and a name without a suffix.
Example: Rubik/Mystic

You can have more than one cat, and cats can be any colour you'd like. Realistic and fantasy is allowed.
But id prefer no cats with super bright hues. For example, a pure rainbow cat.

Torchclan is also an advanced clan, having technology at its paws. Computers can be used but only as a protection tool.

Aka, you cant have a cat that uses facebook (lol) the technology is only to protect the clan by using cameras on the borders.

Now that the rules are over with, here is the lore to the clan and the history of the elements!

Many many moons ago, there were two cats. Thrushclaw and Moonclaw.

These two cats were the best of friends, and lived peacefully in a clan called Iceclan.
One day, Thrushclaw persisted that they both explore the ancient caverns in the golden forest. 
Nobody had ever gone there before, and Thrushclaw was the adventurous type. 
Reluctantly, Moonclaw agreed, and the two young warriors went to explore.
After walking for a while, the two found the caverns deep in the forest, and Thrushclaw led them 
both to explore. 


Inside the cavern, were Millions of gems. So many that they provided a light.
Moonclaw couldn't believe her eyes, and neither could Thrushclaw. The two were excited. They'd never expected to find such a beautiful place.
Thrushclaw caught sight of one gem however. It was a bright red stone, glinting her reflection. Thrushclaw decided to take it
for herself, feeling like it belonged to her.
Moonclaw tried to stop her, but Thrushclaw would not leave the stone behind. Thus meaning Moonclaw had to
let her friend take it.

A few days later, Thrushclaw accidentally dropped the stone, resulting in it smashing. 
She was sad, but it wasn't a big deal to her. She could go back and get another surely. 
However, she did not. 
That night, she had nightmares. Horrible nightmares.
Nightmares of death, of the clan burning and the world collapsing.
Nightmares of pure wickedness and darkness.
Every night this happened, for exactly seven days.
Thrushclaw grew tired, and reclusive. 
Moonclaw was worried for her best friend, but couldn't reason with her.
Thrushclaw stayed away from anyone she could in fear they'd get hurt by her anger.
Then, one night, she had a dream.
In this dream, the world was red like blood, and trees were red too.
A tall orange tom with one tooth on show, was before her.
He named himself as Rustedfang, and he was the keeper of the stones in the cavern.
And he'd been awoken by Thrushclaw and Moonclaw.
The tom said that if Thrushclaw was to kill three cats, no harm would come to her family, or clan, or forest.
Thrushclaw was by this point hypnotised by pure fear.
And agreed.

Thrushclaw indeed killed three cats, and the final..
Moonclaw saw.
The two argued, and Thrushclaw was blinded by fear. She had no control of her
own mind, and no idea what she was doing.
Moonclaw was then chased by her friend, straight into the cavern.
Moonclaw fought, but it was no use. Thrushclaw won, and Moonclaw fell in the cavern.
But, this was not the end of them.
Thrushclaw vanished after Moonclaw's murder, but cats were left behind..

Four cats were exiled from Iceclan that day. Including Thrushclaw herself.
Shadowstripe, Pineclaw and Shroomtail.

Thrushclaw decided that these three would help her legacy grow.
Being totally corrupted by the dreams, and by killing her own clan mate, Thrushclaw was now no longer Thrushclaw.
The cats were given new names by the she-cat.
Mushroom
Pinecone
And Shadow.
these three cats would become the founders of the rouges. The corrupted loners who share Thrushclaw's element.
The rouges would wander the forest and protect others like themselves, and Thrushclaw would watch from the shadows.
Never seen, never heard of. The keeper of the Dark Forest.

Moonclaw meanwhile, became a spirit of Starclan. She was now dubbed the protector of the stars, and the elements.
It was now her duty to watch over the forest, and protect the elements.


One day, in Thunderclan, a cat was born. Sisters and a brother.
Their names, Redkit, Brackenkit and Icekit.

Moonclaw saw Redkit as a prophet, a true warrior.
When she became a warrior,  Redpelt ventured to the moonstone led by a dream.
She found it, and met the legendary spirit, Moonclaw.
The silver spirit dubbed her "the immortal protector" and granted her the element of fire.
Redpelt's blue eyes turned red, and she was now forever sealed in her destiny to rule a clan.
However, things went wrong.

Brackenheart, her sister, was slayed by a fox.
Being her only real friend, Redpelt was forever broken.
She left Thunderclan with her friend Spottedfire, and dubbed herself Bloodpelt. Never forgetting her sister.

Bloodpelt collected a bunch of loners who had not been stolen by the rouges, and took them in.
She created Torchclan in Brackenheart's memory, and named them all as warriors.
Steve, a kittypet becoming Stevepool.
Rubik, a small little yellow kit she saved.
Spottedfire becoming medicine cat.
Hornet and Bandit, two brothers, and their sister Spiderpaw.
And Lantern, a beautiful black she cat. 

The clan grew much more after this, and Bloodpelt and everyone else was happy.
But what they didn't know, was that Thrushclaw's legacy was far from over.
A kit would find the clan, and forever change its shape and tempers.
Her name, was Mystic.
