Notes: I'm thinking there is currently a battle going on by the river that borders between ObsidianClan and RavineClan, and then we can have an NPC ObsidianClan warrior cripple Jadefal's back leg, paralyzing it.

So it was time for battle again. Jadefall loved the feeling of blood running through his claws and dripping off his muzzle, but not in a murderous, treacherous way; he enjoyed the feeling of doing so only when it meant that every drop of blood shed from the enemy was another step closer to keeping RavineClan safe.
The battle patrol of RavineClan, led by the deputy, stood in their battle positions aligned well. They looked over the river that separated ObsidianClan territory and theirs, hoping that they would not get ambushed from the sides or back. They smelled the stink of those mangy ObsidianClan cats easily, but could not tell where they came from as the scent was all over.
"StarClan damn them for trespassing and trying to steal our territory," Jadefall snarled out loud, hoping that somehow those savages would hear him from where they hid.

Paw-steps could be heard far in the distance. They were faint, but obvious. The sound of leaves and rustling could be heard along the forest floor, before a face could be seen behind the thickets. A tall, lean she-cat emerged. Her red eyes piercing through the forest like fire. Behind her, a silver she cat, with blue eyes. An orange tom, with a red bandanna, and a black she-cat with orange eyes. This was a Torchclan patrol. A small but strong one. Led by Bloodpelt herself.
The red she-cat lifted her muzzle. She smelt blood, fresh blood. With a small curious grunt, she padded along the border slowly, letting her long fluffy tail trail behind herself. Then, she saw him. A tom, in the distance. She narrowed her eyes to slits, seeing he was angry. She signalled her patrol to stop, and lifted her head so she could be plainly seen. She didn't want to be seen as an attacker.

The clan deputy's shrill voice rang out, a battle cry so fierce that it boiled in the blood of the RavineClan warriors with him. The RavineClan cats raced forward, claws unsheathed and fangs ready to rip their opponents to shreds. At the moment the deputy's cry sounded, ObsidianClan cats streamed into view from every direction besides from in back of them.
Jadefall saw one brown tom and leaped on his back, sinking his fangs into his shoulder, drawing blood. Immediately the tom sprang away, yowling in pain, but no sooner did two ObsidianClan cats barrel into the light-gray tabby tom and pin him to the ground. They raised their paws and were about to slice his throat, but he kicked their back legs and flipped them. The clan deputy came to help and blinded one of the cats attacking him by slashing across his eye. Jadefall chased off the other warrior.
Jadefall though that they were doing well in the battle, but when he looked around he saw the blood of his comrades spilled on the grass and rocks. ObsidianClan cats were brutally beating the RavineClan warriors violently, not hesitating to kill.
"This is against the warrior code!" he yelled in fury, flinging himself at a cat he knew was named Foxshade. "Warriors don't have to kill to win a battle!"
Foxshade dodged his attack and came up from under him, slashing his flank and drawing a pool of blood from him. Jadefall groaned in pain and stumbled, the nasty ObsidianClan warrior smirking at him. "Blood is everything," he growled. "If we don't kill, we don't win. This territory now belongs to ObsidianClan!"
Foxshade leaped at him, about to deliver a final blow to his head, but a RavineClan warrior crashed into him and the two began fighting. Jadefall was about to join in, his heart pounded with terror, when the clan deputy rushed up to him and wailed desperately. "Jadefall! You are the least injured, I want you to go and ask those cats up on the hill for help! Hurry! Our lives depend on it!"
Jadefall looked quickly, scanning the distance, and saw them somewhat. He didn't think twice, he raced away from the battle as quickly as his paws would take him, his paws thundering over the ground, until he reached the group of strange cats, the cries of his comrades growing fainter as he got further away.
To a red she-cat, Jadefall begged, panting and out of breath. "Please... my friends are dying... please help us."

Bloodpelt looked at the tom curiously. Tilting her head slightly. She saw blood, and heard the sound of battle. She looked at him blinking, as the yellow she-cat stepped forward. "Whats happening?!" she yelped. Bloodpelt lifted her long, fluffy tail, and silenced her clan-mate. "..Who are you?" she asked, her voice full of many emotions. Dark, but kind enough not to sound like a threat. It was full of pure experience, and more than anything, curiosity.

Jadefall was so out of breath that speaking was difficult for him. "Jadefall. A warrior of RavineClan... we're fighting our rivals and they are killing our clanmates, they have no mercy!" he yelped, looking at the blood red furred she-cat with the most desperate, pleading eyes. "Please help us. We can't afford to wait much longer..."
In the distance Jadefall heard the sound of a high pitched wail, much louder than any other sound arising from that battle. The light-gray tabby tom flattened his ears and dearly hoped to StarClan that it was not one of his clanmates.

Mystic winced pinning her ears hearing the yell. "What was that?!" Bloodpelt wheezed looking at him narrowing her eyes. She was clearly hesitant, thinking on what to do. She swiped her tail and let out a short nod. "Hornet, get our strongest warriors" she mewed and looked at the tom. "Take me to them, Jadefal" she mewed. Her voice dark but caring.

Jadefall gave the she-cat a grateful nod and turned back to high tail it back to the battle between RavineClan and ObsidianClan. He hoped the she-cat was close behind. When he got close to the battle again, he scanned the wild chaos of cats for the RavineClan deputy and did not see him, but Jadefall hoped that the deputy had seen what the light-gray tabby tom had successfully brought with him; more reinforcements, thanks to this kind she-cat.
"The ones we are fighting against are the more mangy furred ones," said Jadefall, jumping into the river, swimming easily across as it was sort of shallow and the current wasn't to strong, and he flung himself at another cat, Foxshade once again, surprising him and ripping off a slice of his ear.

Bloodpelt nodded, and darted into the battle letting out a loud shrieking mew that would send fear through the intruders. She lunged at a random cat, clawing their shoulder hard. It had the stench of obsidianclan alright. She glanced around for Jadefall, but couldn't see him through the sea of fighting cats, and grunted.

Jadefall felt a rush of hope as the she-cat's clan, his reinforcements of a sort, rushed into battle and attacked the wretched warriors of ObsidianClan. He felt powerful, powerful with his clan, and he defeated many cats.
Until Foxshade reappeared and knocked him flat on his side, dazing him in shock so that he could not move for a moment. The brown tabby tom raked his claws severely down his side and drew streams of blood from the gash. "You snake-heart!" the light gray tabby tom flung himself at the savage cat that had attacked him and Foxshade dashed away.
Jadefall followed and pursued to the edge of the forest, but... something wasn't right. At the base of a tree Foxshade turned and faced him, clawing his face, and a moment later he heard a snap above him and something as heavy as the sky itself fell on him. Jadefall's instinct before it crashed down on him was to jump forward, but he was caught by the left back leg and it was crushed with all the weight of the world, sending waves of pain through his entire body.
He screamed in agony, his cry ringing out over to all the cats present at the battle.

Bloodpelt stiffened as she heard the scream, and lifted her head bristling her tail. She ran across the camp to look to where it came from, and yelped as she got knocked down by a stray to. The bushes erupted with cats as Torchclan raced into the clearing, hissing and yowling, attacking the Obsidianclan cats. Bloodpelt smirked, clawing away the tom swiping her tail. She ran across the clearing to aid her clan. Mystic, however, ran after the scream. She darted through the forest in a panic, hoping to find the cat, her eyes full of fear.

The nerves in Jadefall's leg began to go numb and the light gray warrior worried. Had his... leg been paralyzed and crippled? This tree branch was rather large and heavy, if he had been under it when it had crashed to the frosty ground he would have surely been killed by it.
He thought he heard a cat nearby and hoped it was not another ObsidianClan warrior, or even worse, Foxshade himself for he was a feared warrior among that savage clan. "Foxshade..." he growled under his breath, remaining quiet and hiding himself in the shadows in the log, hoping he would be found.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sagefur, the RavineClan deputy, pinned Foxshade under his paws and dug his claws in, sinking his fangs into the brown tabby's chest, ripping and tearing. With his back legs, Foxshade kicked the deputy off him with a powerful thrust.
Immediately, Foxshade was on top of him. "I'll leave your clan deputy-less," sneered the ruthless tom, bringing his paw, claws unsheathed, down on the RavineClan deputy's throat. He sliced it open and let the blood flow over the cold, hard rocks.
No, Foxshade felt no remorse and only pleasure. He had weakened the other clan and that brought a great honor to him and ObsidianClan.
