@celestial - The forest was still, but not still enough that it was silent. slowly, a group of cats walked along the golden pathways of grass. Leading the group was a big, tall slender she-cat. Her eyes as red as fire. Behind was a smaller pale white she-cat, and an orange tom with sharp black ears and a tail resembling a wasp stinger.
The she-cat leading was staring into the forest, her eyes blazing along every inch of land they could see. Her ears twitching to hear every sound she could hear. Her claws feeling the earth under her pads. This was her kingdom, and nobody elses. Or so she thought. A scent flew across her nose. Not torchclan.. yet.. not one of the rouges. This was a cat, a new cat. Not one she'd seen or scented before. She instantly turned and walked quickly to a bush, peering over the top. It took her a moment, but she saw it. It was a cat, a very small cat. She had to check to make sure it wasn't some kind of rodent. For sure a cat. Hornet let out a low growl, but Bloodpelt silenced him. "What is it?" Mystic mumbled to her leader quietly. Bloodpelt sneered narrowing her eyes slightly. "..Seems we have a visitor" she mewed slowly emerging from the bush, instantly dwarfing the cat.

Grapefur was running around in circles muttering under his breath, distress clear in his voice. "Oh no. Oh no no no. Please don't tell me I'm lost. How did I get lost? I swear I was following Cloudstrike. I was right on his tail the whole time!" Yet here he was. In some random forest StarClan knows how far away from the rest of his siblings.
"Ugh," He collapsed among the roots of an old tree, curling his tail around him to conserve heat. "Why is it always me?" He lamented to himself, digging his claws into the earth.
The sound of rustling undergrowth caught his attention. Putting a momentary stop to his brooding, Grapefur pushed himself back up against the tree, arching his back to try and make himself look bigger. This cat - a she cat, he noted - was at least twice his size (which wasn't saying much) and sported a bright red pelt. Just looking at the blood-red colour of her pelt made his stomach rebel and he could feel bile rising in the back of his throat. "Oh. Um. Hi! I'm..." He squinted up at the red she cat, a spark of familiarity in the back of his mind. "Sorry, do I know you? I feel like we've met somewhere before. Maybe in my nightmares..." He muttered the last part to himself. He tucked his large, bat-like ears against his skull and looked up at the she cat pleadingly with his large eyes. Mentally begging her to not kill him.

Bloodpelt looked at the cat. He was smaller than any cat she'd seen, yet his huge ears made her blink with curiosity. A smirk appeared on her face as she saw his pleading eyes. She had no time or interest to harm this tiny cat. But, didn't mean she couldn't have fun. "Hmm.. ill have to think about that" she smiled sarcastically, walking up to him, dwarfing him. "Who are you, fearful one?" she asked narrowing her eyes studying him. "I would not be surprised if you've seen me. I am known by everyone" she purred darkly.

Grapefur shrank even further into the tree as the she cat started smirking. His heart was pounding in his ears and he prayed on of his siblings would appear out of the forest like a knight in shining armour. Instead he caught the curious eyes of some of the other cats that were behind the red she cat. Grapefur felt his heart sink. There was no way he was getting out of this one very easily.
"I'm not fearful!" He shot back, his voice squeaking with fear. He gulped audibly before puffing himself up. "I'm Grapefur of ThunderClan. Or at least, I was." Guilt shot across his face at the mention of his former clan.
"Yeah, well with fur like that I can't say I'm surprised." Grapefur shot back at her with a huff.

"I see" she mewed, her eyes suddenly softening for a brief moment. Thunderclan was where Bloodpelt herself had grown up, before leaving after her sisters death. Her gaze turned back to normal, and she smiled in amusement at the pure fear scent coming from the tom. She watched him shrink into the trees and chuckled leaning over him slightly. "Hello, Grapefur" she mewed slowly. She glanced at the other cats at his childish yet, secretly to her, funny insult. "I am Bloodpelt" she mewed calmly, her voice smooth yet dark. "Leader of Torchclan" she said. "These are my clan-mates, Hornet, one of my strongest warriors" she purred. "Oh, and thats Mystic" she pointed to the she-cat with her tail getting a huff out of her. She glanced at her paws swiping her long fluffy tail along the ground. "What purpose do you have to be in Torchclan territory, dear, little grapefur?" she smiled. Mystic eye rolled at her leaders obvious trying to freak the cat out.

Grapefur perked up slightly as the play of emotions crossed the she cat's face. At first it was a flash of recognition at the name of his previous clan, then her entire body seemed to slump into relaxation and not as threatening as she was mere moments ago. In turn, he relaxed too, turning his bat-like ears forward with curiosity and edging away from the tree slightly.
He narrowed his eyes in irritation as the she cat laughed at him and he made an effort to seem less intimidated. He wasn't sure entirely if it worked or not. "Bloodpelt." He repeated, disbelief colouring his tone as he eyed her red coat dubiously. "Looks like we both got the short end of the naming stick." He jested with a grin.
His eyes followed each cat as she introduced them and Grapefur nodded in their direction with a little hopeful smile. "TorchClan? Can't say I ever heard of it." He admitted to Bloodpelt with a tiny shrug. "I was-" he cut himself off as he remembered why he was stuck in this forest in the first place. He jumped to his paws, a look of alarm on his face. "My siblings!" He yelped. "I was passing by with my siblings but we got lost while we were running away from a pack of two legs and their dogs. I somehow wound up here. I'm sorry, I didn't know this was your territory. Honest! I just want to get back to my family."

Bloodpelt narrowed her eyes listening to the toms story of how he ended up in her land. She swiped her long, feather like tail along the floor curiously. "I see" she mewed with a smooth tone of voice, and a slight sneer. "Dogs dont live near here, so obviously your stick like legs carried you a long way" she chuckled. She however was interrupted by a sudden hiss. Mystic stepped forward making a face at her leader. "Show some concern!" she grumbled. "He might be hurt!" The white she-cat stood beside Grapefur looking at him tilting her head. "Excuse my leader" she sighed. Bloodpelt hissed at her former apprentice. "Who said you could speak?" her voice turned cold. Mystic hissed back bristling her fur. "I have my right to speak" she said. She turned to look back at Grapefur as Bloodpelt was glaring at the coldly. She disliked her back chat. Bloodpelt was big. She could easily hurt the two of them. But, she was cunning. She needed this cats trust.. he could be useful. She did the one thing that made all the cats around her nervous. She was silent. She was listening..
